Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does 1 website mean?

We consider one URL as a single website.

If you have a website, we consider it as one website.

Any files and subfolders under this URL are still considered part of this site e.g.

It doesn’t matter how big your website is, will scan and protect the whole directory structure. On the other hand, if you have a sub domain on the same URL e.g., SecretCop will consider it a completely separate website. In order to add this sub domain, you will need a multiple website plan.

What if my website is already infected?

No problem! As soon as you sign up, simply submit a request by logging into the control panel. Our experienced developers will assess the issue and resolve it in no time. Please note that we will require your website FTP details in order to access and clean infected files.

Do you provide a guarantee if you are unable to clean my website?

We’ve never come across a situation where we cannot clean a website, but if we think that a situation is out of control, which is highly unlikely, we will give you a refund for that website. If you are on our single website annual prepay plan, we will refund your full £97.00 ex vat. For bigger plans, we will refund you for the website that we were unable to fix. Whichever plan you’re on, you are covered with our guarantee.

Can I upgrade my current plan later?

You can upgrade from your current plan to a bigger plan anytime. This can be done from within your dashboard in just a few clicks. All your archive data will remain intact and you will face no downtime whatsoever.

What are your support hours?

The system monitors your site 24/7 and notifies you after each scan. Our support staff are available for malware cleanup from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm (GMT), London standard time.
